Youth & Adult Bible Study: The Miracles of Jesus by Rose Visual Bible Studies

Led by Ben Treaster

Jesus did impossible things. Repeatedly. He did "small" miracles--a hand or an ear healed, some jugs of water turned into jugs of wine. And he did shocking miracles--a violent storm calmed, a few loaves and fish multiplied by the thousands, a dead man walking out of a tomb alive! Big or small, each of these supernatural events in his ministry reveals something special about our Miracle Worker--about who Jesus is and what he cares about. Through the testimony of the miracles of Jesus in the Bible, we can know him better today.

With helpful charts and illustrations, Miracles of Jesus Bible Study explores six fascinating miracle stories from the Gospels:

• Jesus turns water into wine

• Jesus heals the sick on the Sabbath

• Jesus calms the storm on the Sea of Galilee

• Jesus feeds the 5,000

• Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead

• Jesus heals an enemy's ear

Each of the six sessions includes a key Scripture passage to read, questions for group discussion and personal reflection, practical life application, and historical background from the time of the New Testament that sheds light onto the meaning and significance of the miracles.
