United Women in Faith have a rich heritage at Mt. Hebron. The first women's organization was the Women's Foreign Missionary Society formed in September 1885. Through the years we have been faithful to our purpose. We support all levels of our organization's mission outreach - local church, Columbia District, SC Conference, National, and World. United Women in Faith enable broad participation of women in varying interests, ages, ethnic groups, and lifestyles. Christian growth and fellowship occur with participation in Bible studies, retreats, reading programs, and special observances, such as Call to Prayer and Self-Denial, and events, such as the Mission U, and the Spiritual Growth Retreat.

Mt. Hebron's UWF circles provide a supportive community. In the local church, we have a ministry to home-bound members, nursing home residents, college students, and families who experience the death of a loved one. We support monetarily , and with our presence, many mission agencies. These work actively and openly for the elimination of injustice and on behalf of oppressed persons, especially women, children, and youth.
Mt. Hebron has a very active group of United Women in Faith. There are seven different circles that meet regularly - and they would love to have you join them! You are welcome to join the one that fits into your busy schedule.
