Financial Secretary

This is a part-time position managing, in coordination with the Finance Committee, the finances of the church. The duties include but are not limited to bookkeeping, accounting and financial reporting.

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate's Degree in Accounting

  • 2-4 years of practical experience in accounting is preferred.

  • Experience with church management software is desirable.

Mental Health Clinician

Mt. Hebron Counseling Service is seeking a part-time to full-time Mental Health Clinician for a hybrid position within our nonprofit practice.

The compensation for this role is structured as a 70/30 fee split, with 70% of the fee allocated to the clinician. Prospective candidates must hold a Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, social work or a related mental health field from an accredited institution. Additionally, applicants are required to maintain active licensure in the state of South Carolina as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Independent Social Worker-Clinical Practice (LISW-CP).

The primary responsibilities of the position include:

  • Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments and providing evidence-based psychotherapy

  • Developing individualized treatment plans and ensuring the maintenance of timely clinical documentation

  • Managing and maintaining individual professional liability insurance

 

Our organization provides comprehensive management of insurance credentialing, scheduling and billing services. This position offers significant flexibility allowing clinicians to establish their own schedules to facilitate a sustainable work-life balance.

Hebron Counseling Service has remained committed to making care accessible through its Fee Subsidy Fund, later Well Fund, ensuring financial hardship is not a barrier to receiving help. Since 2015, Mt. Hebron Counseling Service has welcomed more than 2,800 referrals and provided over 18,000 counseling hours and sessions to individuals, couples and families seeking healing and hope.
