Reflecting Christ’s Generosity
At Mount Hebron United Methodist Church, we believe that generosity is not just an act—it is a reflection of Christ’s own self-giving love. Jesus offered His time, His gifts, and ultimately His very life for the salvation of the world. How can we not respond by offering a portion of ourselves in gratitude and joy? Currently, our prudently managed expenses are outpacing our giving. We need everyone's generosity in action.
This October, we will join together in a two-part commitment of generosity:
-
October 12 - During both worship services, all ages will dedicate our time and talents, offering ourselves in ministry to God and neighbor. Click the respective button(s) below that corresponds to your family dynamic for the "Service Commitment Cards."
-
October 19 - We will prayerfully commit our financial gifts for 2026, supporting the ministries and mission of our church. Commitments will also be received on the Sundays that follow. Click the "Financial Commitment Card" button below.
For the life of this church and the work of Christ’s kingdom, we ask each household to take a faithful next step:
-
If you are already giving, prayerfully consider giving a little more.
-
If you have not yet begun, we invite you to start by giving something.
Jesus reminds us, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” Matthew 6:21.
May our generosity in 2025 and 2026 reveal hearts centered on Christ and a future filled with hope.
