During the month of September, in all of our worship services, we will be considering a book entitled Three Simple Rules by Reuben Job.  This book introduces the heart of John Wesley’s theology and reminds us that as Christians, we are called to disarm ourselves, to respect and do good to everyone and to seek a deeper relationship with God.  Sunday school classes (adults, students and children) are encouraged to discuss the book each week during the series. Study guide materials will be provided for both a four or six-week format.  Persons not involved in a Sunday school class, who wish to discuss each week’s content, are invited to participate in a group which will meet in the Fellowship Hall from 10:00 to 11:00 am each Sunday.

Bishop Reuben Job is an outstanding leader in Spiritual Formation within the Methodist Church.  He is past editor of the Upper Room, a pastor, a chaplain, district superintendent, and author.  We will be fortunate to grow as a congregation as we study his book together.
