Mt. Hebron is excited to be participating in its second year of School Time Bible Education with Pineview Elementary School. School Time Bible Education is a time set aside during the public school day when students with parental permission may leave public school to attend off-campus Bible classes at a nearby church. Since Mt. Hebron is directly across the street from Pineview, we are a convenient location for this outreach. The mission of School Time Bible is to equip local churches with all the resources they need to adopt, own, and operate a School Time Bible program. Churches like Mt. Hebron provide an opportunity for students to understand the basics of the Christian faith by taking a rigorous course of academic study covering the Bible's major characters, events, and principles. This ministry concept began in South Carolina in 1996 and currently 71 public schools in 21 school districts are participating. More than 7,500 students take part in the Bible Study each week, and over 50 percent of the students do not have a church home. Mt. Hebron will be participating in this exciting outreach ministry in the fall and we could use your help.
